Learn how to ride horses TODAY the fun way! I specialize in taking riders of all ages and levels and making every experience full of knowledge and fun. Lesson horses are available to you if you do not have a horse. If you have a horse there is a great training program to fit the needs of you and your horse.
Classes Available
Kelly Saldivar Performance Horses caters to riders of all ages and experience levels with a wide variety of lessons. We offer western pleasure, horsemanship, trail riding, and showmanship. We are also vendors for the following charter schools; Cabrillo Point Academy, Blue Ridge Academy, Sage Oak, Excel Academy, Pacific Coast Academy, Suncoast Preparatory, and Epic Charter.
Lessons
$350 per Month
The first class will be an evaluation and overview of how each lesson will go. We will go over how to groom, tack up your saddle, safety on, off and around the horse, ride, safety while riding, balance, sitting in the saddle properly, how to hold your reins, leg position, and learning proper ways on how to ride the horse. Lessons are 45 minutes and private. Each monthly package includes one lesson a week each month. Lessons are offered Monday through Friday.

Do I need to have a horse to take lessons?
No, we provide world class lessons horses for you.
Do I need to bring/wear anything to my lesson?
Yes, you will need to wear long pants, boots, and a helmet.
What is the youngest age a child can start lessons?
The youngest a child can start is 5 years old.
Are the lessons private or in a group?
All lessons are private unless siblings would like to take lessons together.
Can I still ride if I forget my helmet and boots?
Unfortunately no. For the safety of all riders they must wear a helmet and boots every time they ride.
A Little About Me
I have been so fortunate to be able to ride horses most of my life. My greatest accomplishments have been two National Championships in 2003 and 2006, as well as winning a trophy for youth exhibitor of the year in 2006, and most recently winning trainer of the year for 2015 on the IEL Circuit. I am now in the greatest part of my life to be able to teach children and adults how to ride. I love taking someone with a passion for horses, and making their dream a reality. I work a lot on safety on and off horses, and always make it fun. We set small personal goals each time we ride and achieve them. Confidence building is always a top priority. I work with each student at their own pace, we never rush through anything. Horseback riding is a great way to relax and have a great time!
